Welcome to ERA: Epic Roleplaying Adventures!
We create large-scale tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) experiences in extraordinary environments that build friendships and community.
Each ERA event supports multiple tables of pre-generated characters in a linked series of high-stakes adventures in a setting built specifically for them. As the adventure proceeds, groups of players rotate, opening up new options for character interaction and problem-solving, as well as introducing players to the broader community of play.
Meals and lodging are included for attendees, and in-between table sessions we make space for conversation between players and characters, “epic downtime” actions that may change their characters or their world, and exploration of the incredible venues wherein we hold our events.
As we see it, playing games together in this way is an act of resistance against division and isolation. So pick up your dice, kick open the door, and join us on an Epic Roleplaying Adventure!
Who We Are
Epic Roleplaying Adventures is a Cooperative association in Kentucky. We’re a group of life-long gamers who believe that role-playing games facilitate community and friendship in an age of digital isolation. This is the thing we love, and we’re really good at it, so we want to share it with the world. Our members are: Geoff Runge, Jason Cox, and Colin Moore.
Geoff Runge has been playing some kind of tabletop role-playing game, wargame, or LARP since 1983. He ran fantasy LARPs for 8 years, and also helped write and produce Inside Avernus for Learn Larp. He started running games online for both kids and adults during the pandemic, but prefers in person play.
Jason Cox is a cute little guy who makes puppets and teaches art.
Colin Moore was the host, facilitator, and designer of countless tabletop game tournaments, scenarios, leagues, and other community events as the owner of The Louisville Game Shop. He has recently learned the art of 3-d printing and often spends his time creating miniature worlds and tabletop scenery.
