Mutual Respect and Enjoyment

The guiding principle at an ERA event is engendering mutual respect and enjoyment.  Always behave in a manner that shows respect for your fellow attendees and the staff, and expect respectful treatment in return. Act in ways that will elevate others’ enjoyment of the event as well as your own.

Abusive, hostile, or threatening language or behavior is not allowed. Insults or threats are not allowed. Unwanted physical contact, lewdness, or harassment of any type are not tolerated.

ERA events are welcoming spaces. Discriminatory or bigoted speech, attitudes, or actions are not allowed. Sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, as well as other prejudiced attitudes are not welcome or allowed at our events.

We are guests of the Kentucky State park system. Attendees are expected to follow the rules of the host park at all times, to never damage or vandalize park property or its natural areas, and to always treat the staff of the park with respect and kindness.
